New Crackdown Officially Called 3, Shows First Pre-Alpha Gameplay

The Marketgait company chief operating officer is video game legend Dave Jones, who helped create Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto as well as the Crackdown series.

Today as Microsoft’s Gamescom media brief Crackdown 3 was showed off with a world reveal of gameplay and a behind the scenes look at Crackdown 3. This includes apartments, parking garages and even high rise towers.

Apparently, the Xbox Cloud solution that Microsoft will use for it offers developers the ability to deploy 20 times the power of the Xbox One, enhancing any element of their experiences that they want. Watching the action unfold in a massive city with multiplayer mayhem going on is nothing short of impressive.

I have to admit, I’m quite impressed.

Like the original, Crackdown 3 will allow players to target the various bosses throughout its open-world city in the order they see fit.
