Bobbi Kristina Brown case to be reviewed by district attorney
Update: Police in Roswell say they’ve turned over their investigative file in the case to Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard to determine whether any charges will be filed. As described in the lawsuit, on the morning of January 31, Bobbi became embroiled in a loud argument with Nick Gordon at her townhome, and Brown was later found unresponsive, unconscious, and with her face down in a bathtub with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.
The statement read, “Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate”.
Bedelia Hargrove, the appointed lawyer of Whitney Houston’s daughter, has filed a $10-million lawsuit against Bobbi Kristina’s partner.
While it’s still uncertain exactly how Bobbi Kristina ended up in such bad shape, all signs are pointing to the involvement of her bad boy ex. Nick was accused of routinely transferring funds from her bank account to his, which also included $11,000 after she was put in a coma, according to TMZ.
While the lawsuit doesn’t directly accuse Gordon of causing the accident that led to Brown’s irreversible brain damage it does appear to hint at it. Gordon is accused of assault, battery, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, unjust enrichment and conversion.
Nick has previously released statements through the media where he has pleaded with Bobbi’s family to let him see her. Leolah Brown also added that Bobbi was “continuing today to improve”. Gordon has yet to publicly comment on the new allegations.
Houston left everything in her will to Bobbi Kristina.
The lawsuit also claims that Whitney Houston’s daughter had told someone that believed Gordon was “not the man she thought he was” and that she had planned a time to meet with her confidant on January 3, but never made the meeting due to the incident.
He posted a message to his Twitter account that didn’t mention the lawsuit, but said, in part: “We keep praying”. Her tragedy came almost three years after her mother Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub.
