John Kasich: The US Should Be Providing Aid to Ukraine
Kasich, a devout Christian, declared during the two-hour debate sponsored by Fox News that climate change is a real problem requiring government and society to protect the “creation that the Lord has given us”. “No one in Washington appears to have the ability to do something to ensure they’re an integral a part of our group”.
“I understand it because I come from a place where people had a lot of frustrations growing up as a kid”, he added. Their kids have high student loans and they can’t get a job. Then you take 45 minutes’ worth of questions, and people poke you and they look at you and they try to figure out whether they like you. “And in order that’s an enormous deal; that is an enormous distinction”.
Manchester, New Hampshire (CNN)John Kasich locked up an influential endorsement Tuesday night in New Hampshire on the heels of a new poll showing a jump in support for the Ohio Governor in the first-in-the-nation primary state.
He said he’s also had some television ads that helped give him name identification, but still, he thinks his climb has come more from “just being in the trenches”.
“In a CNN interview, Kasich, whose candidacy had been dwarfed by other fellow Republicans who have dominated the headlines and had national high profiles even before they launched presidential campaigns, said: “[The] 11 or 12 million who are here, we ought to find out who they are.
The Ohio governor has also been quick to tout efforts to cut emissions in his state and he praises clean energy.
He identified that former New Hampshire Sen.
Kasich, though, said he was taking a wait-and-see approach on Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s decision to turn over her private email server to investigators, including if he thought she committed a crime.
“I do not perceive why she had this factor, what she was making an attempt to do”. But what I do think is, you know in my state of Ohio, we preciously take care of Lake Erie, we’ve reduced emissions by over 30 percent over the last ten years.
“I feel it is a critical state of affairs, clearly, however I need to see what develops … there isn’t any method I might make an opinion on this at this level”.
