New mobile payment solution — Know Samsung Pay
Along with the reveal of Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ Samsung also announced that its mobile payment system will be officially launched on August 20.
The Note 5 isn’t betraying the range’s phablet roots, with a mighty 5.7-inch Super-AMOLED display in place – although somehow that doesn’t seem quite as ridiculous as before, with standard flagships now packing screens up to 5.5-inches. Both phones are beautifully designed and packed some pretty impressive specs under the hood. The Note is now on the redesigned version of other Samsung premium phones with an all metal and glass body look.
The Galaxy Note 5 has an ergonomically curved back for a better fit in the users palm, while the S Pen has a new clicking mechanism that pops the pen out.
“…Customers wanted the great viewing experience and a device to get things done”.
This phone is basically what it sounds like: a larger version of the S6 Edge.
Both phones will start rolling out in the US from 21 August, while the S6 Edge+ will launch in Europe and Asia in early September.
“A display once called a gimmick has now become the norm”. There are two variants of the device – 32GB and 64GB – but unlike the S6 Samsung hasn’t launched a larger 128GB variant. For now, Samsung’s hasn’t talked about the hardware or features of the new watch.
The Defender Series provides three layers of protection in a case made of polycarbonate and it includes a screen protector so users can rest assured that no accident happens to the phone.
Both devices are available in Samsung’s existing Black Sapphire, White Pearl (not shown) and Gold Platinum colors with the addition of a new Silver Titanium color option (shown left).
The Official Announcement for the Samsung Pay is that it will be hitting the US Market on September 28 and the Beta Tests for the Samsung Pay will be conducted this Month’s fall.
Samsung has also talked up the devices’ link to its new mobile payment service, Samsung Pay. Except if they live in Canada.
