Trump slipping in polls
John Kasich is surging in New Hampshire while Donald Trump is taking Scott Walker’s place as the leader in Iowa. “But it showed that he’s weak”.
Of course, Trump also talked about his favorite subject: himself. But few envisioned a field of 17 candidates, the explosion of outside money that appears ready to keep second-tier candidates flush with cash, and the quick rise of Trump. Most politicians have PR people; they have all kinds of consultants telling them what to say.
O’Donnell, 53, called in to SiriusXM’s “Just Jenny” show Wednesday and expressed her dismay at Trump’s comment that Kelly, 44, had “blood coming out of her wherever” when moderating the debate on August. 6.
He told Hannity he is prepared to spend hundreds of millions of his own dollars on his presidential campaign “if I’m doing well”.
Trump also told enthusiastic supporters at the Birch Run Expo Center that he wants to “make America great again”, and spoke of marketing ideas such as re-branding.
Speaking to reporters before the rally, he said his campaign is in the process of crafting policies and will likely release details in September. That’s the only thing we can think of when people pick him to be their neighbor on a plane (25 percent), on a road trip (23 percent), on a holiday in Europe (34 percent) or as some to share a dinner with (26 percent).
Trump, as he has done with the rest of the Republican Party, is just laying waste to the other politicians in this poll.
At least part of her “interesting” week involved Donald Trump, whom Kelly tangled with on the first GOP presidential debate August. 6 when she asked him about disparaging remarks he made about women. “Roger understood better than anyone that the media would love to see a prolonged war between the two of them, but that would not be in the best interest of Megyn, which is why this was handled in a dignified way behind the scenes – in order to lower the temperature and calm the waters for all. Jeb Bush?” Trump said.
In typical fashion, Trump took this question as a personal attack.
It was a reference to Mitt Romney’s claim during the 2012 presidential election that 47% of Americans are too reliant on the government, and would therefore never support him. Before Kelly could get to her full question, Trump quipped, “Only Rosie O’Donnell”. “Women fought for equality in this country and right now politically it’s being taken away from us“.
Rival camps do not expect Trump to be a serious contender for the nomination when the state-by-state primary contests start early next year.
