In Iowa, Clinton Calls Email Controversy ‘Usual’ Partisan Politics
Bernie Sanders and even Vice President Joe Biden, who isn’t running yet. Republicans have lambasted the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination for what they insist was her negligence in handling the nation’s secrets.
The appearance of the emails also offers a chance to tell the deeper story of the role the Clinton-led State Department and other powerful actors played in opening up Mexico for global business in the oil and gas sphere. True enough, when Hillary became secretary of state in 2009, departmental rules did permit officials to use home computers.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 terror attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, said the unsecured Clinton emails represented a “serious national security issue”. Minutes later, she boarded a black SUV and was whisked away.
Undoubtedly many, perhaps most, of the 24 million tuned in to see celebrity billionaire Donald Trump, and they got quite a show that night and for days after from Trump’s twittersnit at Fox’s Megyn Kelly.
However, if information came exclusively from the Central Intelligence Agency, and it ended up in Clinton’s email without the proper classification marking, that could be problematic, said Steven Aftergood, director of the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists.

“Well, I think it’ll make her a stronger candidate, because of the competition”, he said. He gave me that businessman look.
“The questions are whether she received emails with classified information in them, and if so, whether information in those emails should have been classified in the first place”. As she walked around the building, children sat on their parents’ shoulders, and people cheered from the rafters above the expo. “Trump will do that”.
Not necessarily. As confusing as it may seem, these two assertions — Clinton’s claim that she did not have any classified information in her email and the inspector general’s claim that she did – could both be partially accurate.
She defended her joke on Saturday during her press conference, describing the controversy as just another example of the “partisanization” of politics.
“No one will fight harder than I will to end racism in America and to reform our broken criminal justice system”, he said. “I love it”, she said. It’s a fact pattern that repeated over and over again in her husband’s administration, at times involving her.
“Do you want a six pack or do you just want one?” the woman behind the counter asked.
