Apple is preparing to unveil an iOS 9-based Apple TV next month
The latest iOS 9 will be rolled out in about a month, but it is now making quite a buzz with its new features, including one that will allow smoother performance across all Apple devices.
The fourth generation Apple TV could feature a touch-pad remote, extra inbuilt storage and Siri voice control for browsing and selecting programmes and films to watch, in light of a recent patent filing. This means that if you have already downloaded and installed iOS 8.4.1 firmware, then you still have a chance to revert back to the old iOS firmware from the new one to experience more features and functionalities.
From a hardware perspective, the new Apple TV will reportedly come with a much faster processor, possibly Apple’s A8 SoC used in the iPhone 6.
As we approach closer to Apple’s expected September 9 media event, information about the products anticipated to launch there has started to trickle out. Despite that, Apple TV has recently become the leading set-top box for paid TV streaming, surpassing Roku, Xbox, and PlayStation, according to data compiled by Adobe Digital Index. It will also support touch and gesture-based inputs, as well as Bluetooth and infrared connectivity.
So, Siri will be in the next Apple TV upgrade. Thanks to the explosion of the iPad and other mobile devices, online poker sites were forced to rethink their marketing strategies and sites slowly started to develop mobile poker apps.
In addition, each new Apple TV will ship with a re-designed remote. A small speaker said to be hidden inside the remote could add an extra level to gaming with the new Apple TV.
One of the biggest complaints about Apple Music is the lack of a shuffle button, allowing the music app to play random songs in your music library in a random order.
A more complete search system is also expected to bring up results from iTunes, Netflix, the user’s personal film collection, and elsewhere without searching each app separately. The new Apple TV will operate on a TV optimized version of iOS9. But aside from answering general questions and organizing calendar entries, Apple has programmed Siri to analyze the daily activities of iPhone users.
