Chris Christie Speech at Iowa State Fair Interrupted by Animal Rights Activists
Christie’s marketing campaign has emphasised his candor, with “Telling It Like It Is” as his slogan.
“Animals want to live”, the two activists chanted, as an Iowa State Trooper pulled them off the stage. Fairgoers drop kernels into jars marked with the candidates’ faces.
“I’ll be on the first stage, so don’t worry about it”, he told CBS in an interview set to air Sunday, referring to the debate stage reserved for the 10 Republican candidates with the strongest showing in public polls.
