Free tickets to pope speech snapped up; some then sold

The 10,000 free tickets to the September 26 event, taking place next to the Liberty Bell and in front of Independence Hall, were made available online at noon.

U.S. Sen. Tom Udall, D-New Mexico, has more than 200 free tickets available.

Pope Francis shall be in Philadelphia in a bit of over two weeks, however there appears to be some confusion concerning the free occasions.
