American Idol’s Corey Clark Arrested on Domestic-Violence-Related Charges: Get
Since American Idol, Corey Clark has tried, unsuccessfully, to put together a music carer, including releasing an unsuccessful solo album in 2005.
Former “American Idol” contestant Corey Clark has been arrested again for domestic violence-related charges.
According to Clark’s arrest report, his estranged wife, Monica, alleges that her ex broke her protective order which details he must only communicate with her via email, about their children. She also says he would bother her constantly about her new relationship through email, which violated the parameters of the protective order.
Clark was disqualified from American Idol’s second season after producers determined that he had not disclosed a previous arrest record. Monica added that she ignored Clark’s emails, which led him to follow her to a restaurant and stare at her while she had dinner.
Clark was booked earlier this month for misdemeanor domestic violence charges and a felony of aggravated harassment.
Monica says Clark took it one step too far when she stopped replying to his emails.
This is just the latest in a long string of arrests following his time on the recently canceled talent competition series. After he got the boot, he claimed to have had a sexual relationship with former “Idol” judge Paula Abdul. He pleaded no contest.
