Apple’s iPad mini 4 will be slimmer, faster, better…
However, the tech titan is still mum on the details and has yet to make an official confirmation about its product offerings and their specific release dates. While that remains to be seen there’s a new report from the Far East which claims that iPad mini 4 is more or less going to be like a mini iPad Air 2 because it’s going to feature the same specifications. The Air 3 will be powered by an A9 processor, the same next-gen processor by Apple, which will also be used for the next iPhone. Reports say that the team behind the iPad mini 4 is really working so hard to give consumers a great value for their money.
Apparently, at least according to Japanese site Macotakara (via Apple Insider), the incoming compact tablet will essentially be equivalent to an iPad Air 2, but hit with a shrink ray.
According to Yibada, in an attempt to bring back the love for iPad mini from dissatisfied Apple users, the iPad mini 4 is rumored to have a longer battery life, better sound quality, and larger storage capacity of up to 128GB compared to its predecessor.
It will reportedly employ the laminated anti-reflective display of the Air 2.
Lastly, the next iPad mini is rumored to carry a cheaper price of $463, which is slightly lower than the iPad mini 3’s $494 price tag.
A known industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes the same idea regarding the upcoming iPad mini 4 and claims that the tablet is in essence the iPad Air 2’s miniature version. The upcoming Apple iPad Air 3 will also support 4G LTE data connection and if rumors prove to be right, it will be equipped with an USB Type-C connector and Force Touch Technology and Taptic Engine Technology.
iPad Air 2 users, who find the device too bulky, will soon have a more suitable alternative.
Despite the assumption of a new iPad Air coming out when iPads usually come out, a report is saying that the iPad Air 3 is being delayed until 2016.
