Apple watchOS 2: What You Need to Know About the Software Update

You can now answer emails from your Apple Watch in the same way you’re used to replying to texts – through voice dictation or brief pre-written replies, including “Can I call you later?”, “Got it, thanks” and “Let me take a look…”. Fortunately, watchOS 2 addressed many of my wish list items line-by-line. Other than that, applications will be able to use features like accelerometer, taptic engine, the digital crown, heart rate sensor, microphone, and speaker. Apple News replaces the Newsstand app, allowing creation of a personalised “magazine” using content from news and lifestyle magazines. Just how beneficial these are really will be up to the app developers.
