Ariana Grande apologizes over doughnut incident
After the singer was criticized for lacking sincerity in her statement, in which she apologized for licking donuts and bashing America, she made a decision to say sorry again.
Videos surfaced on TMZ Wednesday of Ariana Grande, showing her visiting Wolfee Donuts in California, licking a doughnut on a counter and declaring “I hate America”.
Well said, Ari. We definitely see where she is coming from, but it’s good that she apologized for the way she went about the situation.
Police are now investigating the incident, along with local health officials.
She said it when a large tray of doughnuts was put in front of her and new boyfriend, backup dancer Ricky Alvarez.
Several people have expressed their disgust while some advised her to act her age, after watching the video.
Furthermore, Riverside County Department of Environmental Health spokeswoman Dottie Ellis-Merki explained, “During the investigation, the manager did state they normally don’t leave donuts out like was shown in the video”.
Unfortunately, there’s no legal punishment for being deliberately rude.
Ariana Grande “spat” on doughnuts at a Wolfee Donuts, a Californian bakery, its owner Joe Marin has claimed. She also “wanted to disappear”.
Either way, Grande won’t be performing at the concert which is devastating news for baseball parents who intend to bring their tweens along for the festivities. So I zoomed [the camera into] her mouth, and the powdered ones, she did not lick them, she spit on those. Should she be arrested or charged for something after spitting on donuts? And I make mistakes and that’s how I’m going to learn…
“Now is the time for Americans to rally around the grandeur of this magnificent country and its remarkable citizens, and to work together to restore that shining city upon a hill”, ROYCE Pres. EDWARD STOLZ said.
Things you probably shouldn’t do as an American pop superstar.
