Baltimore police: 3 dead in shooting near university campus – July 08, 2015
Baltimore: Three people were killed and one was wounded when gunmen opened fire on a group of people on a street near the University of Maryland, Baltimore, police said on Wednesday.
Baltimore police responded to an emergency call around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Associated Press reported, to find a woman and two men with gunshot injuries.
Strong said officers found a woman and two men with gunshot wounds.
UMB Police say two light colored vans pulled to the side of a road, reports CBS Baltimore.
The shooting followed another incident on July 2, when shots were fired into a vehicle on the same street and block as today’s gunfire.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Strong says the woman is listed in stable condition. Investigation continues.
Here’s what we know: Four people were shot. Three others have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.
The school advised students to use caution in the area.
“Remain aware of your surroundings at all times”, it added.
