Biden trumps Clinton in new poll while Trump surges

She’s at 45 percent among Democrats, down from 55 percent in late July, according to Quinnipiac.

Meanwhile, Clinton narrowly prevailed over Trump by 4 points, at 45 percent to 41 percent; she received 42 percent to Bush’s 40 percent; and 44 percent to Rubio’s 43 percent. About 1-in-4 GOP voters say they would never vote for Trump, topping the field.
In the poll. 26 percent of Republican voters said they would not support Trump, followed by Bush with 18 percent and Christie and Kentucky Sen. “I just don’t think the minimum wage increase is the best way to increase wages for Americans“, he said, touting his plans to lower business taxes and encourage alternative forms of education. His second closest competitor is Ben Carson, who is polling at around 10 percent.

Thursday’s lead marks the widest margin for any Republican so far in the election cycle, the survey said.

The nationwide poll of 1,563 registered voters was conducted between August 20 and 25, with a 3.9 percent margin of error. A Reuters/Ipsos poll on Tuesday showed Bush tumbling into a tie for third behind Trump, as Bush’s support fell from 16 percent to 8 percent over five days.
