Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford testifies before Senate hearing
As Ford’s testimony in front of the mostly male Senate Judiciary Committee proceeds through 21 rounds of questioning from 11 Republicans and 10 Democrats, thousands of Twitter users are praising her bravery. The boys’ laughter was “indelible in the hippocampus”, she said, using her scientific expertise to describe how memories are stored in the brain and adding, “It’s locked in there”.
In her written testimony submitted Wednesday, Ford pushed back against Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and other Republicans who have cast her as part of a smear campaign meant to thwart Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Graham concluded by exhorting his Republican colleagues not to allow the allegations against Kavanaugh to derail his nomination.
However, he has said he would listen to what Ford has to say at the hearing and, if persuaded, could withdraw the nomination.
