‘Bulletproof’: Female Trump Staffer Dismisses Critics
The businessman denied implying that Megyn Kelly, a moderator at last Thursday’s presidential debate, was tough on him because she was menstruating.
“I cherish women”, Mr Trump said in a phone interview with the cable network’s State of the Union news programme. Angry over what he considered unfair treatment at the Republican debate, Trump told CNN on Friday night that Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”
Erickson told reporters he wasn’t comfortable with inviting Trump to the RedState gathering’s stage with his wife and daughter in the crowd, Politico reports.
He continued to blast Ms. Kelly, calling her “highly overrated” and said she was out to get him, asking him all sorts of “ridiculous questions” during the debate. “I have no respect for her, I don’t think she’s very good, I think she’s highly overrated. I was one of the first people to put women in charge of big construction jobs”, Trump said on NBC’s “Meet the Press“.
“I was referring to nose, ears”, Trump said on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” – one of four Sunday morning talk shows on which the Republican frontrunner appeared.
“I’m very disappointed in Fox News”.
“His comment was inappropriate”, he wrote.
“In no way do I advocate, you know, saying mean things about people“, he said.

Goertz dismissed the critics and said Trump “is bulletproof” and that he is projecting his strength during the campaign.
The Trump campaign fired back, saying it’s just another example of weakness through being politically correct.
Yes, the always bombastic and controversial Trump finds himself embroiled in yet another controversy because, as usual, an inflammatory statement he made about someone, this time regarding a female reporter after the first GOP debates in Cleveland.

If there was anything close to a consensus among activists at the event, it was that they still wanted to hear what Trump had to say.
