Caitlyn Jenner admits she opposed equal marriage
DeGeneres, a staunch advocate for the LGBT community, went on to grill the TV personality on her starkly Republican views on Gay marriage. That’s not my job.
“I’m really happy for you, I really am”, a visibly upset Kris insists as they sit opposite each other in Caitlyn’s Malibu mansion.
After sensing hesitance Ellen replies, “it’s amusing because you’re still a little not on board with it”.
“I’m onboard [with it]”, Jenner clarified.
At that point, Ellen calls her out on maybe still not being 100 percent on board, to which Jenner basically responds that she totally is because it’s going to be the “law of the land”.
“I still feel like, ‘yeah I’m okay with that, ‘” Jenner says, “cause I don’t wanna stand in front of somebody’s happiness”.
As for dating, the former Olympian said she’s not ready to tackle romance just yet – she’s still getting used to her new life as a woman. In particular, many are wondering that whether Caitlyn will decide to date men or woman.
“Everybody wants to have a partner, everybody would love to have a family…” Because I am more proud of him for the courage that he has shown. “Just kidding”, Jenner said, Daily Mail reports. “I have 10 children”.
“I’ve got so much to learn”, Esther says after Cait’s friend Chandi tells her about her personal journey. For the kids, Kendall and Kylie, I don’t want tension. But yes, would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with?
“I never thought the day would come that actually I would be with my two sisters, a bunch of trans women and my 89-year-old mother, and everyone having a good time”, Caitlyn gushes in the exclusive clip.
Degeneres then asked, “Will it be Candice?”
With her 13 season of her show kicking off on Tuesday, Ellen DeGeneres made sure to bring in some big names in Hollywood to help her start the show.
Kris said: “You’re sensitive and incredible to all these new people in your life, you’re just not so sensitive and wonderful to the family that you left behind”.
