College football: National spotlight on wild Pac-12 South
The Stanford vs. Oregon State live stream and TV game on Friday night will feature a Pac-12 battle with one of the Top 25 teams in the nation trying to grab an important road win. Kevin Hogan has thrown for 775 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense, but he is battling an ankle injury that has him questionable to play. Anything is possible in this division, which heats up Saturday with three showdowns: UCLA at Arizona, ABC’s prime-time game; Utah at Oregon, FOX’s prime-time game; and USC at Arizona State, which is ESPN’s late-night game. The over/under points total is set at 45 points for the complete game.
From there, Stanford was able to control the clock the rest of the way for the most part and leave Corvallis with the win to move to 3-1 on the season.
On the season, the Stanford Cardinal average 265.0 yards in passing and 136.7 yards in rushing. He was named a Pac-12 player of the week after completing 18 of 23 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns against the Trojans.

OSU closed the first-half scoring with a short field goal after Stanford’s defense held on third down from the 6. Everyone’s hopes for the upset jumped just a little bit, though, when Oregon State QB Seth Collins would answer with a lovely 40-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Villamin. In receiving, Austin Hooper had 79 yards and one touchdown in four receptions.
