Donald Trump Agrees That Megyn Kelly Is A ‘Bimbo’
Donald Trump has been disinvited from a Republican party event today over a suggestion that a debate moderator was tough on him because she was menstruating. Before Kelly could finish her question, Trump raised his finger, smirked and responded “only Rosie O’Donnell”.
Two of Trump’s rivals, former technology executive Carly Fiorina and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, said there was no excuse for Trump’s words about Kelly.
Too far? Donald Trump made more than his fair share of polarizing comments at the GOP debate on Thursday, August 6, but one specific remark about Rosie O’Donnell has the Apprentice star in the hot seat. “And I just want people to know that, if they like me, great, if they don’t, I will cry a little bit, but life will go on”, Kasich said.
WUSA9’s Andrea McCarren interviewed about 20 random people about Thursday night’s debate.
O’Donnell, who had carried on a long-standing feud with Trump, according to Politico, later tweeted, “Try explaining that to your kids”.
Google Trends tracked candidate searches: No surprise, Trump was the most searched; but here’s something unexpected: Dr. Ben Carson ended the debate in a Google search tie with Trump.
The bump in viewership is likely due in part to Trump throwing his hat in the ring.
It was an extraordinary start to the party’s quest to choose a flagbearer for the 2016 race to succeed President Barack Obama, only six months ahead of the first primary votes. What Trump said may be offensive to some listeners.
“So many “politically correct” fools in our country”. “I got you the highest debate ratings in your history & you say nothing but bad…”
Baier asked Trump to reconcile his past support of single-payer health care with his opposition to President Obama’s health plan, and what he felt he received in return for past political donations to Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi.
“I will not make the pledge at this time”, the improbable frontrunner said, to loud boos and jeers from a rambunctious crowd. I didn’t think they were appropriate.
“Before, during and after this first, prime-time GOP debate, Facebook was the clear destination for political conversation”, wrote Jason White, who heads Facebook’s Media Partnerships, in a blog post about the topic.
