‘Girls’ Star Allison Williams Marries CollegeHumor Co-founder

The “Girls” actress married CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen in a star-studded ceremony at the luxury Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, on Saturday (19.09.15) and one guest says the serene wedding was lovely .

Though the New York Post got wind Friday that the ceremony was going to take place on Saturday, the couple still managed to keep the location of their nuptials secret.

Since then, the 27-year-old said that the controversy, coupled with her starring role in NBC’s Peter Pan Live previous year , delayed her wedding planning. Guests included her Girls co-stars Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke, as well as Katy Perry and Seth Meyers. In Feburary, the Girls star told Seth Meyers that due to her father’s suspension, she will be holding off on getting married for some time. Here she is in the handmade Oscar de la Renta couture gown, and, oh yeah, her husband, too. In the sunny snap, the Girls actress can be seen smiling off into the distance as Van Veen looks over at her. She admitted in February that it has been a very hard full year.

“Then current events started happening, so that derailed it a little bit, but it has been this really attractive through line in our lives”, she continued. This is the first wedding for both as they are dating since 2011 when they got acquainted with each other by a mutual friend.

“My goal is to create a career I can walk away from and become a mom”, she said. “And the funniest thing about that is I consider myself someone who is impossible to surprise, and yet I am constantly surprised by things”.
