Last night, Kelly challenged the real estate mogul on his abortion views, whichshe said he’s flip-flopped on.
Ohio Gov. JohnKasichsaid that Trump’s immigration comments have clearly touched a nerve and it is “a mistake” for people to ignore him. This related to the debate, which because of Mr. Trump had 24 million viewers – the biggest in cable news history.
Trump first claimed Mexico is “sendingpeople that have lots of problems” to the US at his presidential announcement in June.
While some conservatives have voiced their disapproval of Trump’s disinvitation, Erickson made the right call. “It just was wrong”, he wrote.
“This is just another example of weakness through being politically correct”, his campaign said in a statement.
A former corporate litigator at Jones Day for nearly a decade, Kelly joined Fox News in 2004 where she’s covered multiple elections and political events as well as breaking news. Earlier, seven of the 17 Republican presidential candidates appeared at Fox News’s second-tier debate.
But Perry campaigned as if he was one of the party’s top-tier candidates, declaring that his 14 years as governor in Texas prove he’s worthy of a promotion.
“As much as I do personally like Donald Trump, his comment about Megyn Kelly on CNN is a bridge too far for me“, said conservative pundit Erick Erickson, who is hosting the RedState activist event.
