Given the packed schedule of Modi on his last day in the U.S., the summit will be the only platform where Modi and Sharif will be under one roof, raising speculation of whether the two leaders will greet each other. On terrorism front, Modi said it is a global phenomenon and no country can be immune to it.
To a question, Swarup said there was a mention of Pakistan in the context of terrorism. The initiative sparked a fiery debate in India that came to a head earlier this year when several prominent Indian companies pulled their support for the program, following criticism it interferes with the tenets of net neutrality.
