Khloe Kardashian Calls Lamar Odom ‘Love of Her Life,’ Admits Weight Loss
The reality star said her transformation boosted her self-esteem, and became a positive way to hit back at “critics who called [her] “the fat one” for [her] entire existence”.
And then, because she really is a gal after our hearts, Khloe detailed the importance of pizza in her life.
But the star didn’t give up on her sessions with celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson: “If you keep going, you’re eventually like, “Wow, is that an indentation on my arm?” “I was having a hard time with [husband at-the-time National Basketball Association star] Lamar [Odom]. If I could control what I eat, I would have the best body ever”. “At first it was so hard, but I started feeling so much better”.
Despite her love for cooking and enjoying some vino, Kardashian says she’s “more aware now”.
KoKo admitted that working out can be addicting especially now that she has lost about 35 pounds, although she is not in the habit of weighing herself. “And I was like, ‘Did you mean to call Kylie?’ And he was like, ‘No, I’m calling you”. The star realized that even though she has always been on the heavy side, she has never considered herself fat or overweight.
Amusing enough, she says that validation for her hard work first came from brother-in-law Kanye West, who asked for her help while developing his Yeezy Season collection earlier this year. “If it wasn’t for my family and us doing it all together, I don’t think this would be a bearable thing”. With her stepfather’s transition to Caitlyn Jenner, she shared that her family has been transitioning as well. I wasn’t trying to offend anyone. Being an outspoken lady, she doesn’t care if people hate her because she feels that she has earned every squat and lunges she has done to make her body handsome, Huffington Post writes. “It’s just hard to learn when millions are watching”. I do love the evolution of people in general. “I think because all of us are going through the same thing… we can vent to each other about it and we all understand what we’re going through”.
