Kyle Busch wins pole, seeking fourth straight win
Busch is aiming for his fourth consecutive win in his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota and is now within 23 points of the top-30 championship spot he needs to ensure a Chase place despite missing 11 rounds through injury.
“I just wasn’t sure I could get the balance right”, said Busch, who had said before qualifying that he wasn’t sure he had a shot at the pole.
Harvick posted the fastest lap of the second round while Stewart was fastest in the first round.
If Kyle Busch were to win the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, he would join an exclusive club reserved primarily for NASCAR Hall of Fame members.
“This year, we’ve got four out of five wins”. This was Busch’s first pole since last fall at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
