Leaked Images Show Pink iPhone 6S Ahead Of Apple’s September Handset Launch
One of such leaks has popped up across the web today, which suggests the upcoming iPhone 6s models will arrive in a brand new color.
The report claims that the iPhone 6C has a 4-inch screen, Touch ID, NFC (Apple Pay), Gorilla glass and a plastic body as the current iPhone 5C.
Two out of three unnamed German mobile operators are preparing for the iPhone 6s to land on that date, according to a publication called Macerkopf, which cited anonymous sources.
Previous rumours have pointed towards that 18 September date also, so it now seems highly likely Apple is going with that day for release.
The iPhone 7 (or 6s) is expected to look very similar to the iPhone 6, and come in the same 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch size variants.
Now, another report, this time from China Times, pegs the iPhone 6c launch for this November.
Another report from Apple Insider said that Intel modems may find their way into the next generation of iPhones. Instead of offering 16-, 32- and 64GB storage options with the iPhone 6, Apple would offer 16-, 64- and 128GB of storage, which makes sense when you think about the amount of videos/photos/apps we have stored on our devices.
Of course, despite the expected costly smartphone, there’s little doubt in the analysts’ minds that Apple will still be able to sell millions of the phone, and people will still line up for it in stores to get the latest model.
Apple updates its smartphone lineup once a year, with the device debuting at a special event in held California, normally on the second Tuesday in September.
No other details about the prospective specification of the iPhone 6C or 7C has emerged, and Apple never comments on new products in advance of their official unveiling. The report further adds that iPhone 6s preorders will open up on Friday, September 11 to soon be followed by a worldwide launch seven days later on September 18.
