Madd Apple News: Apple Watch’s Sales are worse than Imagined
Apple has been making the iPhone thinner with each iteration, and it likes to gloat about this on stage.
The iPhone 6s is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2015.
According to few other rumors, Apple is planning to ditch the physical finger scan button in the upcoming iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. It created demand for something that never existed before, and in doing so it created a market for a new kind of device. This is a Friday in mid-September.
One site claims to have learned the exact dates for both the announcement and released of Apple’s new iPhones.
Apple’s iPhone 4s was launched in 2012 and in terms of technology-years the phone is decades old.
The Cupertino-based giant is quite bullish about the Indian market, and after having sold 1 million iPhones in the fiscal year ending September 2014, is now targeting the 7 million mark by 2018.
9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman got the biggest scoop of the year yet on the next iPhone this week when he published images which he believes are the actual metal housing of the next iPhone, to be unveiled this September.
With this timing in place there is also time for iPhone pre-orders the Friday before the release, if Apple offers them. This will come in handy for doing pins on the Maps application, creating Calendar events and other press-and-hold interactions on the iPhone 6S. The actual base model of the iPhone 6s may come with 32GB or 64GB storage options.
Many on wall street are inferring Apple’s belief on the slow down in iPhone sales from the spectrum of new services that the firm has gotten into in the last twelve months.
Most of Apple’s competitors make phones with at least 32GB of storage. However, it’s unlikely that someone inside the supply chain would know the launch date of the device this early in its rumored production. The iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 6 all released in mid-to-late September, and Apple appears to be sticking with that tradition for this year’s iPhone.
Apple’s new iPhones are expected to share a very similar design to the current models, although we did hear yesterday that the new iPhone 6S would be slightly thicker than the iPhone 6. Reports vary on the exact thickness and width, but the latest information suggests no change in size.
From that image, we can clearly tell that the rear shell of the device is painted with a ‘rose gold’ color. The iPhone 6s may also come with stronger aluminum that prevents bending.
If true, will a faster Internet speed and long-lasting battery make the iPhone 6S appealing? There are adapters and cases to add wireless charging to the iPhone, but the real benefit comes from integrated wireless charging.
