Microsoft to launch Windows 10 on July 29
“This is going to be an exciting couple of weeks, but it is also only the beginning”, Microsoft said in a blog post announcing the Windows 10 build 10240 release. This information was made public by the Redmond based tech firm via an email statement. Microsoft is releasing Windows 10 after its ancestor version of 8.1 across a whopping 190 countries around the world.

July 29 is approaching fast and Microsoft is putting the final touches on its Windows 10 launch plans. Nash says only a select few among computer retailers will have Windows 10 PCs available by August 2.
Nadella, 47, was addressing over 12,000 Microsoft partners, senior company executives, technology experts and analysts during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2015 at the sprawling Orange County Convention Centre here in the U.S. state of Florida.
Details do not exist just yet, but it’s believed that Update 3 is actually that pack of Windows 10 improvements prepared for Windows RT tablets and which the company already confirmed earlier this year.
Microsoft will kick off a global ad campaign on July 20 with the tagline “A more human way to do”, to introduce Windows 10. “We’ll mark the launch of Windows 10 by celebrating the people and organizations that upgrade the world every day – and by helping them do more in their communities”. (Eligible users can “reserve” a copy of Windows 10 via the notification campaign they’ve been getting since last month.).
In an interview with ZDNet, Microsoft’s CEO reiterated his commitment to Windows Phone and outlined his vision for the future of the mobile OS.
Microsoft – which skipped the name “Windows 9” altogether – has promised users that Windows 10 will bring back some of the traditional features users love, like the Start menu that was missing from version 8.
