Microsoft wants to make it easier to organize meetings with Invite, available
Today Microsoft is adding yet another pro app for iOS called “Invite” which is available for iPhones in the USA and Canada, and coming soon to other phones running Windows or Android. The way it works is that users can invite attendees of people in their email address book with suggested times.
The best part is that anyone invited can see what options work best for other attendees, and suggest their own times as well.
Those users who are able to sign in with an Office 365 account from their business or school will get access to certain special features like a list of their frequent contacts, and give attendees the ability to directly accept or decline invitations like they would an Outlook meeting request. Not only that, Invite will also show everyone else the times in which other people are all right with.
Microsoft has adopted a cross-platform software strategy in numerous cases to date, with majority happening in recent times, where some of the noteworthy efforts include the launch of Cortana as a beta on the Android platforms, not to mention having Office run on Android and iOS. The recipients select all the times they can attend from the app itself or from a browser, once votes are in, you pick the time that works best. That said, the app also works with any email account, including Outlook.com, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail.
We all know that organizing group meetings can be tricky-especially when you’re on the move. Invite can then reserve all of the possible event times on an organizer’s schedule, to help prevent double booking. Yep, doing your expenses 30 minutes later isn’t going to hurt anyone. Say hello to a simple mobile app that lets you find meeting times that work for everyone from anywhere.
If you prefer, you could also get the app from Microsoft Garage which will direct you to a page like the one noted below.
