Nicholas Brendon Arrested For Choking Girlfriend, ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Things aren’t looking good for Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon.
Nicholas Brendon has racked up his third arrest in the previous year, getting nabbed in upstate New York on Wednesday after an alleged fight with a girlfriend.
At one point in the couple’s argument, Gillson tells Us, the actor also grabbed his girlfriend’s phone and threw it into the road. The hotel staff called the police and reported a domestic disturbance in one of their hotel rooms. When the host said he smelled alcohol on Brendon and asked him whether he’d been drinking before coming on “The Dr. Phil Show”, the actor walked off stage.
“It sounds like it went downhill from there”, Jillson said.
Brendon has been arrested three separate times this year, most recently in May for public intoxication. Brendon also said he had been molested as a child and was “actively participating in treatment and remaining positive in the light of negativity” in the post.
Brendon was charged with Felony 3rd degree robbery, criminal mischief and obstruction of breathing.
Over the last few days, police officials have visited Brendon’s home, with the reason being listed as unspecified mental health issues. In March, he was charged with criminal mischief and property damage at a Florida hotel.
This is Brendon’s fourth arrest this year. This was for Malicious Injury To Property and Resisting or Obstructing Officers. Lauderdale, Florida in February for reportedly drunkenly trashing his Hilton hotel room and then refusing to pay his $380 food and beverage bill. He later entered rehab in June for alcoholism, substance abuse and depression.
In addition, he stormed out of a TV interview with self-help guru Dr. Phil McGraw in August, and later told fans the televised intervention was too dark and accused the host of going “for the jugular”.
