Official Xbox One Chatpad Now Available To Pre-Order For $35

Today Seagate is announcing a new product aimed squarely at the console market, and specifically at the Xbox brand.

The addition of Windows 10 means Cortana, Microsoft’s voice-activated virtual assistant, will also work with the Xbox One, but you need Kinect to be able to ask questions.

Shawn Ashmore, lead actor for Remedy Entertainment’s “Quantum Break”, surprised fans as he took the stage with Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake to discuss and showcase the game’s latest time-amplified gameplay features.

During this year’s packed Microsoft conference at Gamescom 2015, it was announced that the Xbox One will soon support DVR for Free-to-Air TV.

Microsoft said the DVR will let users record live linear TV, schedule recordings from the Xbox OneGuide and stream recorded TV shows to other devices – either via the Xbox app on Windows 10, or through Xbox SmartGlass for iOS and Android.

The new Activity Feed for Xbox 360 will enable Xbox 360 users to like, comment, and share what their friends are doing and playing.

First up is the visual overhaul for Xbox’s interface that Microsoft detailed in the announcement.

“For Xbox One, we won’t charge you to play the games you already own”, Ybarra said. Since it is officially licensed to be used for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the Seagate Game Drive sports nearly the same look as the consoles. And yes, there were plenty of Halo 5 footage videos on show as well.

Halo 2 was the last game in the series to launch on PC, way back in 2004. “You will also be able to Like, Comment on, or Share any of those activities as well as post a new message to your feed”. Thing is, you need a pretty good one – if your drive can’t manage fast enough transfer speeds, your game is going to run badly or not at all.

According to the Verge, Microsoft revealed that they will be a releasing a redesigned dashboard on the Xbox One’s in November which will bring Windows 10 to the console.
