Oklahoma ranked No. 19 in Associated Press preseason poll
Ohio State continues to earn preseason reward, this time for securing the highest spot within the first Related Press prime 25 ballot of the season Sunday. But this isn’t the BCS era anymore, and the AP has long been out of the national title picture.
It’s one thing to be hyped up, and another one entirely to live up to that hype.

Anyway, below is the complete AP Top 25 preseason poll. That’s been quite attractive – and where TCU should find its luck historically.
Ohio State was No. 5 in the preseason poll previous year. Sunday’s announcement marks UT’s first appearance in the preseason edition of the AP poll since the 2008 season.
Even among those without scarlet-colored glasses, they are widely seen as a potential all-time great team. That’s a different story.

For the first time under Bret Bielema, the Hogs are a ranked team. There aren’t any glaring errors or misreads, however, these three teams are getting way too much preseason love. 1.
Ohio State, which won the first ever College Football Playoff by defeating Alabama in the semifinal and Oregon in the final, was fifth in the 2014 preseason poll and the last team into the playoff as the committee’s No. 4 team. Notre Dame is 11th.
TCU and Baylor, after last year’s tie for the Big 12 championship, both have their highest preseason AP rankings.
