One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson confirms that he’s going to be a dad

Although Payne admits that the news of a One Direction baby coming soon “shocked” him and the rest of the One Direction boys, they are all “very excited” for Tomlinson’s first child.

The confirmation comes days after his band mate Liam Payne revealed his shock at hearing Tomlinson’s baby news.

During an appearance in “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, August 4, Tomlinson carefully and tersely acknowledged his impending fatherhood status, reports Billboard. He added, “He’s got a great voice and he’s a very talented young man and we wish him all the best of luck”.

A source told Us Weekly, “Louis didn’t expect this, but he’s excited for it now”. Liam described the album as “eclectic” and Louis joked that he was using his big vocabulary words for that answer.

But have no fear fans, Liam says Louis is taking the new chapter in his life very seriously. It sounds very much like this could be the next step towards a One Direction split, despite the fact that the boyband have insisted that they will stay together for a few more years yet.
