Oregon’s Byron Marshall likely to miss rest of season
The Oregon Ducks slow descent took another nose-dive on Tuesday, after sources said star wideout Byron Marshall is likely done for the season.
Marshall left the game in the second half of Oregon’s home loss to Utah with an apparent lower leg injury. He was seen minutes later getting on a cart and headed back to the locker room.
If Marshall is indeed out for the remainder of the season – remember: nothing has been officially confirmed by the team yet – it’ll be a huge blow to the Ducks, who are already having a tumultuous year.

Marshall, a senior, has been more effective for the Ducks this season as a kick returner than a receiver.
Marshall has also been productive on special teams, leading the Pac-12 with 27.5 yards per kickoff return. Entering the game against the Buffs, the depth chart has Charles Nelson, Dwayne Stanford and Bralon Addison at the Wide Receiver Position. Marshall recorded just nine receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns this season.
The Oregon Ducks are 2-2 and face Colorado on the road this week for a Nationally televised game.
