Rahul Gandhi resurfaces through Tweet …BJP perplexed!
On Monday, in a counter-offensive, BJP’s national spokesperson MJ Akbar said that the “Congress has become the voice of untruth, malice and utter frustration”.
“Very interesting discussions on the global economy &the disruptive power of tech at the conference in Aspen (sic)” tweeted Office of RG along with a picture of Rahul Gandhi.
Modi on Sunday visited Facebook headquarters, where during the Q&A session hosted by company’s Mark Zuckerberg, broke down while talking about the struggles faced by his mother. “The opposition party gets personal by making such remarks and one should keep away such relations from politics”, Akbar said. He alleged that Congress was unable to bear the sight of Modi raising the prestige and prosperity of the country.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) termed his visit to the uS a “forced vacation”. Taking a jibe at Gandhi, he claimed that the problem his party faces is to decide whether their “Yuvraaj” was doing “part-time politics” or “full-time tourism”.
Controversy has surrounded Rahul’s absence the last few days. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi hit out at Congress by saying, “Two foreign trips are talk of town in country today”.
“The prime minister is devoted to his mother, which is quite a contrast to a mother who has ruined a party and is ruining a nation by her utter devotion to her completely inept son. Can’t they name the conference in Aspen?” said GVL Narsimha Rao, BJP spokesperson.
“For Modi, it’s I, me and myself”, said the Congress leader.
