Rihanna Gets a New Tattoo On Her Ankle

Rihanna got the number 1988 tattooed just above her ankle, paying reference to the year she was born.

She went to the celeb-favourite tattoo artist Bang Bang for the new design.

Rihanna has added to her extensive body art collection with a new tattoo above her ankle. On both outings, the BBHMM rock star showed-off her new 1988 ankle tattoo, which she’d gotten done the night before. She hung out with rapper Travis Scott inside the studio, Mirror UK reported.

“That’s my hope”, she said.

As much as I can’t wait to slip into new boots, I plan to bare my ankles and bracelets a little longer…and who knows, perhaps I’ll pull the ultimate act of rebellion and heal those childhood scars with some fresh ink. The Barbados beauty was spotted relaxing with pals while puffing on a cigarette.

Rihanna flew him and Cally Jo to the Dominican Republic in 2013 to add a henna tattoo design over the traditional Maori inking that she had acquired previously. The singer is also known for the bust of Queen Nefertiti on her rib cage, “shhh” and “love” on her fingers.
