Rihanna releases shocking new music video

It’s a far cry from the uplifting “Four Five Seconds”, Rihanna‘s other major video this year, but one befitting the menacing overtones of a song whose very title is a threat.

Releasing her latest and highly anticipated video at midnight, Rihanna’s 7-minute short film has everything you’d expect from a gritty R-rated film.

” “The video for “(Expletive) Better Have My Money” depicts the pop star kidnapping a blond woman and holding her hostage.

When the women finish torturing her and forcing her to drink and smoke weed, the focus turns to the actual target – the accountant – played by Hannibal leading man Mads Mikkelsen. The singer then grabbed a stack of money out of her pocket, and tossed the bills into the screaming crowd. She also tied his hands together with a bandana. Clearly he is the b*tch who owes her money! It is the first time Rihanna directed her own music video, which she collaborated with Megaforce, and Entertainment Weekly quoted the singer on how anxious she is after sharing an image via Instagram.

Back to RiRi becoming the first “artist in RIAA’s history to pass the 100 million Digital Singles Award mark”.
