Rihanna Talks New Music, Why She’ll Never Join Taylor Swift on Stage

Taylor recently had a string of stars join her on stage for her world tour, from Justin Timberlake and Wiz Khalifa to Cara Delevingne and Selena Gomez. “But it makes me excited, because I can’t wait to give them something great”. There are different varieties of songs and she loves them all and so it is a bit tough to include them all in the same album. “In my mind she’s a role model, I’m not”.

Singer Rihanna has given new updates on her eighth studio album, which is tentatively titled “R8“, saying it will be “something great”. Rihanna’s known for her racy style – posting sexy photos on Instagram, smoking on camera, skimpy, barely-there outfits – doesn’t really match up with Taylor’s America’s sweetheart vibe.

Rihanna confided in NME that the reason for not being able to finish her album yet is that she is having difficulties in cutting down the potential tracks of her album.

The site further notes that despite Rihanna’s comment, both her and Taylor are admired and looked up by their fans.

On the other hand, Rihanna apparently does not want to be performing anywhere with Taylor Swift.

There’s also the issue of her busy schedule, she adds, which makes it hard for her to be in the same spot as her production team to work more on the album.

“We just have to wait to get back in the studio together”.

“Er, I doubt it”, is Rihanna’s response when asked if she’d accept an invitation to become the latest in a long succession of artists to join Swift on stage.
