Rubio: Donald Trump Is A ‘Very Touchy And Insecure Guy’ (AUDIO)
“And people can see through it”.
Building his base is going to be key to his campaign strategy if Rubio wants to do well and improve in the polls.
Presidential candidate Marco Rubio looked to build on recent momentum on a return trip to the Hawkeye State. Trump the sniveling, whining, three year old who blows a gasket if anyone says anything about him he doesn’t like. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., took a swing at current Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
“And it will help our businesses expand and create new jobs by allowing them to keep more of their money rather than send it to Washington“, he added.
Trump’s comments on Rubio come at the 20:15 mark.
“Believe me, I’ll know more about this than all of them put together,” Trump said. At a time our foreign policy messes are multiplying, Rubio remains a clear and forceful voice in support of American leadership. “I imply the guy does not show up”. They bring it in in buckets for this guy.
Marco Rubio has been downplaying his rise in the polls, aiming to avoid peaking too soon and instead, evolving as the the survivor of a long, drawn-out Republican primary. “Marco Rubio doesn’t mean anything to him”. Just half of Floridians find Trump favorable, while 40.3 percent gave him an unfavorable rating, the highest of any candidate. Walker was originally seen as the top challenger to Rubio in overcoming his better-financed and well-staffed rival, Jeb Bush. “It’s so important. You can’t say ‘I can’t vote.’ [Rubio’s] got the worst [voting] record”. “It’s about the United States of America“.
Trump’s brash statement that Rubio is or was “in favor of immigration” omits that fact that, at the time when Rubio and his Gang of Eight was pushing immigration reform, Trump was far weaker on deterring illegal immigration than Rubio was.
“He had a really bad debate performance last week”. “He is thin-skinned and sensitive to criticism”. He kept up the attack that night on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” saying Trump “doesn’t know anything about policy”.
The poll results might in part reflect each candidate’s showings in the first two GOP debates. And Trump is predicting Rubio’s presidential campaign won’t survive the spat. “I’m Christian. I love people“.
This race has defied every prediction, but if you are a betting person, Rubio might be the odds-on favorite at this stage.
