Rumor claims Samsung will unleash its craziest smartphone ever in January
The design of Samsung’s foldable Project V smartphone is still a mystry, but researchers believe it would be just like a flip phone with one continuous screen that covers the insides of both halves.
The report said the two devices will differentiate in their chip technology, with one version equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 620 chip and the other an 820 chip.
Samsung has reportedly accelerated the development of a number of its flagship smartphones and two Galaxy S7 models were spotted getting benchmarked.
If Samsung does release a foldable smartphone so soon, it will place Samsung at the forefront of innovation once again. Now, it seems that its first foldable phone is about to become a reality.
Rumors have emerged the Lucky-LTE Galaxy S7 smartphone will come with either a 5.7 or 5.8-inch display, and the smaller model will have a 5.2-inch screen.
As GSM Arena noted, the device on the benchmark test results may be the long rumored Samsung Galaxy A9.
Samsung is reportedly testing both SoCs in the Project Valley device and paired it with 3GB of RAM, a built-in SD card slot for expandable storage, and a built-in non-removable battery.
Although there have been numerous rumors about Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, dubbed Galaxy S7, new details regarding the purported device have started emerging. Well, we’re now a few months away from stepping into a new year, and this week, we finally get more information about the elusive Project V. It would also be powered by wireless and USB, the same as the current phones in Samsung’s stock.
In the past we have seen Samsung unveil some of the prototypes that they were working on, one of which included a display that could be bent.
Other than these two intriguing specifications, the new S series has a lot more to offer.
