Russell Brand on Her Former Wife- Katy Perry Is an Amazing Person

In an interview on Monday, October 13, the comedian Russell Brand opened up about his wedding with Katy Perry. On ‘Today show’ with Matt Lauer, Russell acknowledged that he was very happy to get married with Katy, the American Music Award nominee. The comedian was on the show to promote his latest book ’Revolution’.

There is nothing to regret for the marriage

Russell Brand stated that he is really enjoying a lot. The comedian actor when asked about his feeling of the 14 months marriage to the singer, he gushed and said, “Katy Perry is an amazing person.” The 39 years old British radio host and activist admitted that he regrets for number of reason, but his nuptial with the American pop singer Katy, 28, is not one of them.

Advice from the comedian

Russell on basis of his 2010 wedding stated that when someone gets married he or she gives birth to lots of expectations. The hubby said, “What happened was after you get married, like anyone who’s been married or come out of a relationship, you obviously have a lot of expectations.”

And, when you find that those expectations are not working then most probably the next step should be growing big beard and roam around wearing pajamas.

By the Grace of God- the breakup inspired song

American singer, songwriter as well as actor, Katy Perry also has something to mention. The split (2010 to 2012) inspired her for the song “By the Grace of God”.

Self-love is most important 

She also mentioned that because of the breakup she came to know about self-love. She explained that one should love herself first and then give love to someone else.  Katy said, “Back then it was mostly just me giving love away with no self-love. I went through my ‘return of Saturn,’ is what they call it.”
