Sanders Overtakes Clinton in New Hampshire

New Hampshire, site of the second presidential primary, represents a key state for Democrats and Sanders strong showing there could start a wave of support that could rock the Clinton campaign.

New Hampshire National Democratic Committee member Kathy Sullivan, a Clinton supporter, denied the campaign has to shake up its strategy, and sought to dismiss the poll, saying it over-sampled younger voters and independents more likely to support Sanders.

Coming in third in the FPU/Boston Herald poll was Vice President Joe Biden, who pulled in 9 percent. Afterward she met privately with members of the Black Lives Matter movement, who had planned to protest Clinton’s former support of sentencing policies passed by her husband, former President Bill Clinton.

“Ultimately I think the Trump phenomenon is easier for Republicans to handle than the Sanders phenomenon for the Democrats”, Kristol said.

What’s more interesting is the fact that, according to the poll, Sanders’s favorability ratings and visibility is skyrocketing-Sanders barely registered with eight percent in a similar poll taken in March-while Clinton’s is either flatlining or declining. As of now, the Vermont Senator presents a significant obstacle to Hillary’s quest to secure the Democratic Party’s 2016 nomination.
