Snapchat adds additional replays in the United States … but they will cost you
Earlier this week, Snapchat rolled out with a new update that morphs the registered face and adds various different graphics such as a crying, wide-eyed baby or big burst hearts for eyes. Using the feature is quite easy – when on selfie mode, pressing and holding on the user’s face will activate Lenses.
Snapchat also tweaked its Replay feature. Users can now pay for replays to watch snaps for a fee, and a new feature called the “Lenses” adds fun to selfies.

Snapchat has plans to keep it dynamic and fresh by removing one each day and replacing it with something new to give its users more fun and time to play with the feature. You can scroll horizontally throught them and for most you’ll need to follow an instruction for it to work properly such as opening your mouth or raising your eyebrows.
The picture messaging service might finally have found a way to monetise itself, introducing additional replays for a fee.
Each snap can only be replayed once, but there’s no limit on the number of additional replays that can be bought.
Permission for others to replay your snaps is there by default and can’t be switched off. With 100 million daily active users, the company is expected to go from $3.1 million in revenue in the first 11 months of 2014 to $50 million this year.
