Surface Pro 3 and Surface 3 Now Shipping with Windows 10
Rumor has it that the alleged Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be released this October.
Those of you interested in certain models of the Surface Pro 3 lineup can also save some money.
If you’ve been thinking of buying either Surface 3, or Surface Pro 3, but have been waiting for Windows 10 to arrive, now is the time to get your wallet out.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 could actually be the company’s biggest hit as far as the Surface devices are concerned or might be a disappointment like the Windows 8.1. With the recent release of its maker’s newest operating system, Windows 10, it is expected that the tablet-laptop hybrid will have the fresh OS on board. The article said that the Surface Pro 4 will be able to run on battery power for 10 hours and 3 minutes, as opposed to the Surface Pro 3’s 9 hours.
Surface 3 comes in a choice of configurations – 64GB with 2GB RAM, and 128GB with 4GB RAM.
Apple reportedly dropping their new iPad device has also fuelled the rumors that Microsoft would follow suit and make their new flagship “laplet” available before their rival company makes their offering available. Apple’s upcoming tablet is also expected to have a stylus that operates similar to the one for the Surface Pro 3. However, since the Surface Pro 4 is the latest iteration, it would really come out cheaper than its predecessor.
There are also rumors that Microsoft is preparing to ship more than 4 million Surface Pro 4 units this year alone, although this, like the other details, is unfounded.
Considering all this, will the Pro 4 even better than a new iPad? The screen size of the miniature tablet remained undisclosed. While that is more part of Windows 10 and its properties, it is interesting to imagine how Microsoft will implement such a function into the Surface Pro 4.
In a 36KR, a Chinese publication, Surface Pro 4 still appears to be fanless. Internal storage will range from 64 GB to 256 GB, as per usual. However, Microsoft has not revealed the official specs and features of the device until now.
