Teen Mom 2 star, Jenelle Evans, arrested for assault

As Gossip Cop has noted, this is by no means Evans’ first arrest.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, 23, was arrested on Thursday afternoon for allegedly assaulting her ex-fiance Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend, WBTW reports.

It all started when Nathan Griffith, the father of Jenelle’s 13-month-old child, Kaiser, showed up at the 23-year-old’s Myrtle Beach, S.C. home with his new girlfriend to collect his belongings.

Jenelle allegedly threw a glass at the girl, striking her in the head.

A rep for the reality star told the website that she felt like her ex was provoking her by bringing his new girlfriend along to her house.

Evans and Griffith ended their engagement for a second time recently, the mom of two confirmed to Entertainment Tonight on August 4. We’re told it all went down right outside her house in Myrtle Beach.

She has been arrested 12 times, although most have been for drug related charges. He alleged she had gotten drunk, trashed his auto, and then physically assaulted him.

Jenelle also has a son from her previous marriage – Jace – who turns six this month. Evans has been arrested numerous other times in the past. “All she wants is the best for her son and to feel safe around her family and friends”. The little boy is now in the custody of her mother, Barbara. The MTV star has been trying to regain custody, a battle that MTV’s cameras have been documenting for Teen Mom 2.
