Tesla Introduces Model X
During the launch event at its Northern California factory, Musk turned the Model X into a yuppie clown auto of sorts to demonstrate its capacity, packing the vehicle with several children and adults, a number of suitcases, a stroller, and Whole Foods bags stuffed with groceries. Tesla describes it as a panoramic windshield, extending above the driver and therefore giving him (and the front passenger) a good view above the vehicle. Reserving now will get you a Model X at the end of 2016. He said earlier this year that Tesla would be manufacturing 50,000 to 55,000 Model S and Model X in 2015.
Tesla has unveiled its third vehicle, the Model X, and it is set to become the ultimate status symbol SUV. There also two interior layouts to choose from, and these are six or seven seat options.
The BBC reports that the firm’s chief executive Elon Musk said the auto had been hard to engineer and a few of the components had required more effort than originally expected.
Tesla released its latest electric vehicle, and it’s awesome. According to Musk, it is the first SUV to obtain a five-star safety rating in every category.
The filter is 10 time as big as a standard auto air filter. The wing doors can be opened from a distance, with sensors adjusting the angle to avoid other cars parked close by, and there is a special “biodefense” air filtration button. The auto boasts an incredible 0 to 60 miles per hour pickup in only 3.2 seconds when employing the Ludicrous Speed Upgrade (the auto hits 60 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds normally), making the electric vehicle 0.1 seconds faster than a Ferrari Spider, Lamborghini Gallardo and even the MP4-12C series McLaren, according to Gizmodo. Their CEO has also promised that the company has plans to complete the new Gigafactory as soon as possible and when they do so, they will launch a cheap $35,000 electric sedan which will finally bring EVs to the mainstream market. 25,000 people have pre-ordered the Model X, and models will begin shipping next year.
