Thai police offer bounty for blast suspect
“This includes those who looked out on the streets, prepared the bomb and those at the site and… those who knew the escape route”.
Thai security forces are sharing information with Interpol, the global police organization, and with intelligence agencies from allied countries, officials said.
The Thai Royal Police have offered a 1 million baht ($28,000) reward for help leading to the man’s arrest when they released the sketch on Wednesday.
The sketch was based on footage that showed a man dressed in a yellow T-shirt dumping a backpack inside the shrine compound and walking away through a crowd of tourists about 20 minutes before the explosion.

The latest announcements from the police came after Major General Weerachoon Sukhontapatipak, a spokesman in the military government, told the BBC that authorities are “quite close” to identifying the suspect who appears in widely circulated security camera footage captured shortly before the explosion.
The Bangkok bombing has captivated people across the country, but attacks in southern Thailand have killed more than 6,500 since January 2004, according to Thitinan Pongsudhiral, chairman of the Center for Strategy Studies at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
Police spokesman Lt. Gen. Prawut Thavornsiri earlier released a still from surveillance footage showing two “persons of interest” in the investigation – one wearing a red top and the other a white top.
Three days after the bombing, which killed 20, the motives remain unclear and there has been no claim of responsibility.
Mr Prayuth has called the attack “the worst incident that has ever happened in Thailand” and vowed to track down those responsible. It was unclear whether the man was Thai or a foreigner.
