The Apple Watch will soon be available at Best Buy

Effective August 14th, Best Buy Canada will offer the Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Sport in 16 variants.

“We’re very bullish on the Watch being one of the key, top holiday gifts and want to have it in more places than we now have it”, Cook said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

Best Buy Canada on Thursday informed local website MobileSyrup to expect Apple Watch to be sold at 50 brick-and-mortar stores across Canada, as well as online, on August 14.

It is imperative to state that Apple introduced that Apple Watch in September and began taking orders in April.

Well, Apple Watch availability is about to change in a major way.

Although products receive the majority of discussion, one of the hidden strengths of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been its successful retail operation. And that’s a positive for Apple going into the seasonally heavy holiday season.

The Apple Watch lets you send messages, read e-mail and answer calls to your iPhone from your wrist. Bonfig’s statement also went on to say that “We are excited to bring the Apple Watch to more consumers, especially with the holidays coming up”.

It was only on June 4, 2015 that Apple announced it will stock its stores with the Apple Watch. Given the stock issues it faced around its launch, it is prudent for Apple to expand its reach across wider retail outlets. The company hasn’t released any sales figures for the new device but many analysts believe that the wearable device could become a game changer for the company once the Watch OS is released as it would allow developers to customize apps according to the watch.
