Tottenham Hotspur agree Vlad Chiriches sale

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached a £4.5m agreement with Napoli over the sale of centre-back Vlad Chiriches.

Tottenham Hotspur ace Vlad Chiriches is tipped to undergo talks with Napoli in order to discuss a potential exit, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The Romania global had been heavily linked with Roma in January, but opted to remain in London.

It is believed to be a loan for €1m with option to buy for a further €5m.

He is keen on a move to Fiorentina and knocked back interest from Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray in the hopes of playing in Serie A.

The Romanian worldwide has failed to command a regular first team place since his £8.5m move to White Hart Lane from Steaua Bucharest in August 2013 and pictures on Tuesday night showed the player arriving in Italy.

Mauricio Pochettino favoured youngster Eric Dier and Belgium worldwide Jan Vertonghen in the league last season, and the recent signing of Toby Alderweireld from Atletico means that Chiriches is likely to find game-time harder to come by at White Hart Lane next season.
