Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal does not mind that he will not have the longevity in one job that Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson have enjoyed.
Louis van Gaal has paid tribute to the role played by utility man Ashley Young in Manchester United’s impressive form despite his latest snub from England manager Roy Hodgson.
Wenger has spent 19 years in charge of Arsenal while Sir Alex Ferguson spent more than 26 years at Old Trafford before retiring. You can read about that in the Guardian.
Van Gaal will give his players Friday off as he tries to ensure they are in peak condition, but will not finalise his team until Saturday.
